Mangalore, July 14: The grand finale and price distribution programme of Red Chaapu initiated by 93.5 Red Fm was held at Forum Fiza Mall, Pandeshwara on July 12.
The event had started on June 23rd and is sponsored by Vimal Paan Masala. In this the people had to vote through SMS for the hotel they think is the best producer of the famous food items of Mangalore.
The famous food items and hotels selected by the public are:
- Mangalore’s No.1 Buns spot – Hotel Janata Delux, Ballal Bhag
- Mangalore’s No.1 Biriyani spot – Hotel Royal Darbar, Bendoorwell
- Mangalore’s No.1 Dosa spot – Anmol veg Restaurant, Bejai
- Mangalore’s No.1 Fish Fry spot – Hotel GiriManja’s, Car street
- Mangalore’s No.1 Chaats spot – Hotel dinky Dine, Kadri park
- Mangalore’s No.1 Chicken Sukka spot – Shetty’s Kori Rotti
Prices were distributed to all these hotels and food spots. Later an entertainment session was also held.
Mayor Mahabala Maarla, Laxman Kundar of V4 news channel, chief reporter of Gulfkannadiga.com and Kannadigaworld.com Mr. Satish Kapikad, Operating Director of forum Fiza mall Mr. Raja Mohan were the chief guests of the programme.
Red FM’s station Head Raghav B.A, ROK NTR Head Abhinat Kumar, RED FM’s Senior Producer Yashraj, Sound Engineers Ramsen, HR Shivaprasad, Technical Team members Shribhas, Prakash, Deepak Nayak, RJ Prasanna, RJ Shilpa, RJ Chitra, RJ Deepak, RJ Anurag and crew from Red FM were present.
