Kasargod, June 04: Prime accused in a drugs peddling case has been arrested by Kasargod Police, almost a year after they had seized 78 kg of ganja which was being transported in a lorry.
M Salam (43) of Kulattangura is the arrested person. Police who had seized the ganja in June 2013 near Cherkala Adruguli had then arrested Salam’s brother Abdurrehman, while Salam and another accused Gangadhar had escaped.
The third accused Gangadhar is still at large and the police are searching for him.
