Ullal: Two lorries which transporting over 20 cattle with permission was stopped by the confused locals over cattle trafficking on Friday, June 20 near Over bridge in Thokkottu and handed over them to the police.
It is said that seven people of Punjab origin including Sukka Singha and Kebal Singh were transporting over 20 cattle in two lorries from Maharastra to an ashram in Kerala with the required documents.
The locals stopped the lorries and informed the Ullal police. The police which seized lorries started questioning the Singh team. Upon questioning the permission letter was shown to the Police. As a result the police left them.
