Moodbidri: The largest campus placement drive, ‘Alva’s Pragathi-2014’ was organized by Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodbidri at Vidyagiri campus on June 14 for the fifth time.

Dr. S.B. Sripad, assistant labour commissioner, inaugurated the two-day job mela and said that educational institutions should provide information about the job availability for particular qualification and it also guide students in getting the jobs.

“Job mela helps students not only obtain job but also help them to face the challenges in the corporate world,” he added.

Tusli Maddineni, Chief executive officer, Zilla Panchayat, Dakshina Kannada, said that students should try to get the job that suits their educational qualification. This kind of campus placement drive helps them to catch the right job.
