Mangalore, Dec. 8: Opposing ‘Made Made Snana’ at Kukke Subramanya temple and ‘Pankti Bedha’ at Udupi Krishna Temple the members of CPI (M), district unit staged a protest in front of DC office on Sunday, December 8.
Addressing the protestors, K. R. Shriyan member of secretary committee of CPI (M) said that CPI(M) and other organizations pressuring the government from last four years to stop the practice of ‘Made Made Snana’ and ‘Pankti Bedha’ (segregation in serving food). It is an inhumane system and hurts the sentiments of the society. So thae govt. should stop this in human practice soon, he demanded.
CPI(M) leaders Vasanthachari, Sunil Kumar Bajal, DYFI district president Muneer Katipalla and others were present on the occasion.
