Mangalore, September 7: Alva’s College Moodabidri bags overall championship in the Inter- Collegiate Cultural festival- 2013, which held at Mangalore University, Konaje. Air Marshal KC Cariappa, (retired) PVSM, VM, Madikeri along with Vice-Chancellor Prof. TC Shivashankara Murthy distributed the trophy to the winners.
Meanwhile, SDM College, Ujire secured the second place and Mangalore University (campus) team satisfied with third place.
There were nearly 1,800 students participated from 77 college. In this competition Alva’s College took overall championship by gaining 34 points and SDM College achieved 22 points. Mangalore University campus team and Canara College team secured the 3rd and 4th place.
