Thani Oruvan collected Rs 1.28 Crore from 240 shows in its first weekend in Chennai, which is the best opening for Jayam Ravi in 2015. His Romeo Juliet collected Rs 72.76 Lakh in its first weekend. The positive reviews helped this movie to collect such figures.
Simbu’s Vaalu business was slowed down due to the new releases. Raja directed this movie while AGS Cinemas produced it. Jayam Ravi and Aravind Swamy’s performance is the major highlight of this movie.
