Mangaluru / Udupi, Mar 12: The second PU exams began on Thursday March 12th throughout the 1,1017 examination centers in state. About 6.11 lakh students have enrolled for the exams which will go on till March 27th.
From Dakshina Kannada district, a total of 34,733 students are appearing for the exams. The Department of PU Education has made arrangements to conduct the examination in 52 centers across the district. Flying squads and vigilance squads have been formed to inspect the smooth conduct of the exam.
Prohibitory orders are declared in the radius of 200 metres from the examination centers, and orders have been passed to close the Xerox shops in the vicinity.
