Can you imagine wearing the same outfit everyday to work continously for the last three years? This woman did exactly that and went to explain her story recently in a magazine.
Matilda Kahl, from New York who works as an art director with an advertising firm tookt he drastic move after a particularly stressy and indecisive Monday morning. ‘I had completely stressed myself out, and for what? This was not the first morning I’d felt this unnecessary panic, but that day I decided it would be the last,” writes Matilda.
At that moment, she decided to adopt what she calls a work uniform: a signature white blouse, black trousers, a black leather rosette, and a black blazer if it’s cold out. For the last three years Matilda has never looked back.
The self-inflicted uniform has now undergone slight modification. Matilda has now found a variation of the same shirt at Zara and she after ordering 15 of them she has decided that it will be the most important peice for her wardrobe for the next 254 working days.
Matilda went on to explain that the choice of a uniform saved her countless hours and stress.
