Inaugration of SWAMI VIVEKANAND MANPARIVARTAN KENDRA at Mamnoli, Kalyan Murbad Road

SWAMI VIVEKANAND MANPARIVARTAN KENDRA at Mamnoli, Kalyan Murbad Road, was Inaugurated at the worthy hands of Ln Dr Ashok Mehta, Past Intl. President, Former Sheriff of Mumbai, Chairman of HAMARA FOUNDATION,Emeritus, Ln Tarachand Bapa, Hospital & Research Centre, ,Ln Kartar Singh Hospital, Dr Bhanuben Nanvati Hopital, Gujrat, etc. Vice Chairman, AMS Institute of Management, Ghatkopar (W) and Dist Governor, Ln Ashok Joshi, on 4th June 2014, Also were present among the dignitaries Ln Anil Jadhav DG (Elect), Ln Nitin Shetty, VDG 1 Elect, Ln Mahesh Gupta who initiated this project last year, Kishore Moghe, Mr Sanjay Hegde & Mr Vijay jadhav from Samatol Foundation & Aamdar Mr Sanjay Kelkar MLA, State government Rural Education. & many more.

We the members of Lioness District 323 A2, with Ls Neelam Sharma as President, with around 2000 women members and our motto is to work the for needy specially doing projects like Women welfare, Child Welfare like Destitute and poor children, Help the handicapped including Intellectually Disabled (which is termed as M R Children), Educational Aid, Courier guidance, Medical Aid and so on.

It would not have been possible without our Kind Donors, Corporates and our own members who collected around Rs.19 lacs, as the cost of this project is Rs.35 lacs to fulfill our Main Objective of this Shelter home – SWAMI VIVEKANAND MANOPARIVARTAN KENDRA. The shelter home is to Rehabilitate the Runway children ( who are found loitering at Railway Stations),give them a good education and bright future, to live a drug and violence free life-style for Adolescents and counsel them to go back to their parents.

Ashok Joshi expressed his view saying, This centre will be used for Rehabilitating with “MANPARVITAN SHIBIR” lasting for 45 days for each batch of around 40 to 45 runaway children. SAMATOL FOUNDATION is doing this Noble Job since many years, but now that they have permanent place, this shibir will run through out the year.

Hindu Seva Sangh has donated the land for this noble purpose, we have built this SHELTER HOME for the cause. The hope of every nation is their children—the future generation. What better investment could be made than building a better tomorrow and providing the next generation with essential values? Said Dr Ashok Mehta in his speech.

Neelam Sharmma state that, we are committed to this noble cause! Because for the first time in history of Lioness District around Globe, our District got LCIF Grant of Rs. 16 Lacs( Us $ 26,822/- ) from Lions Clubs International Fund, Chicago, USA… & HISTORY IS CREATED.
