The Kumaraswamy Layout police on Tuesday night arrested a 53-year-old man on the charge of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
The accused, Dhanakoti, was well acquainted with the victim and her family. The girl’s parents were not at home.
As he was talking to the victim, Dhanakoti touched her inappropriately, according to the complaint filed by the victim. The police have registered cases under Sections 354 and 376 of the IPC.
