Bangalore(dhns): The hearing on the anticipatory bail applications filed by Hungund MLA Vijayanand Kashappanavar and the other accused in the Skyye Bar skirmish case has been posted to Wednesday.
The matter is being heard by the First City Civil and Sessions court. On Tuesday, Jana Seva Trust filed a third party application seeking permission to assist the prosecutor in opposing the bail application.
On Monday, V Shashidhar of Akhila Karnataka Police Maha Sangha had moved a similar application. Both the applicants contended that the accused were habitual offenders and hence advance bail should not be granted.
The counsels for the accused stated that their clients have been co-operating with the investigation agency.
Public prosecutor N Belunki said that the court has directed him to submit oral arguments on the application on Wednesday.
