Janata Dal (Secular) leader Prabhakar Reddy on Monday joined the Congress in the presence of Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar at a function held at the KPCC office here. Mr. Reddy had contested the last general elections from Bangalore Rural constituency on JD(S) ticket. Mr. Reddy’s induction is expected to boost the chances of the Congress during the coming elections to the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike and to Bangalore Rural ZP.
