Managalore,ju.26: Installation of office bearers of The Manipal-Udupi Toastmasters Club for 2014-15 took place on Saturday, 19th July 2014. Toastmaster Shyamsundar Kamath from Mangalore was the installation officer and he administered the oath of office to the new functionaries.
Sridhar Kamath has been elected as the President of the Club for the next year. Tanuja Maben is the Club Vice-President (Education). The other Office-bearers of the club are: Rajshekharan Pillai (Vice-President – Membership, Srikanth Prabhu (Vice-President – Public Relations), Chetana M. (Secretary), Vineet Shetty (Treasurer) and Vijayalakshmi (Sergeant At Arms).
The Installation Ceremony was followed by the regular chartered meeting of the Club.
Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization whose main objective is to develop communication and leadership skills of its members resulting in greater self confidence and personal growth. Globally, there are about 14,350 Toastmasters clubs in 122 countries with nearly 2,92,000 members.
