Mangalore, Jul 4: Four persons were injured in an accident where a tractor and an ambulance collided head-on at Thokkottu here late night on Thursday July 3.
The ambulance was bringing a patient from Kanhangad, Kerala to a hospital in Deralakatte here. The tractor was moving in the opposite direction. It is said that the tractor did not have any headlight on, and the ambulance driver, who failed to notice it in the dark, collided head-on into it.
In the accident, Abubakker, the patient who was being brought from Kanhangad, was seriously injured. His two women relatives and the ambulance driver were also injured.
They were admitted to a private hospital. A case has been registered by Ullal police.
