Mangalore, April 29: Speaking at the Rajeev Bhavan on April 28, Sunday Janardhan Poojary has literally criticized Salian for hopping to JDS party from congress for being denied him congress ticket to contest in the ensuing assembly election.
Continuing his bitter attack on Salian, Poojary said in his speech that Salian was given ticket in the past and won five times and that had been duly acknowledged by offering him suitable portfolios.
But now on the basis of denial ticket, he has left the party and joined JDS, how he had obeyed the high command decision despite being refused a ticket twice, he questioned.
Answering the question posed by media a reporters that whether Salian would be reinducted into the party, Poojari said Salian is always welcome provided he joins the party before the elections but sorry, if he intends to join after election, he said.
Vinayakumar Sorake, congress candidate from Kaup, Naveen Shetty, Jaya Shetty, Sudhir Kumar and other leaders were present.
