Mangalore, Mar 18: Renowned Kannada Cine Actress Yajna Shetty, inaugurated an Intercollegiate Cultural Competition ‘Gopura-2014’ at Shree Gokarnanatheshwara College recently.
Correspondent S Jayavikram, management member Vasantha Karandoor and International Master Athlete Sadananda Prabhu were the chief guests at the inaugural function. B Devadas presided.
Dr Gangadhar B Principal Sri Gokarnanatheshwara College presided over the valedictory ceremony. SG College Alumni Association president Naveen Chandra and R J Errol of Big FM participated as the chief guest.
Coordinator of the fest Dr Ummappa Poojary proposed vote of thanks. Dr R Narasimha Murthy compered the programme.
Student Council Leaders Vishwas Prabhu, Nikhil and Mamatha were present on the dais.

In the Intercollegiate competition, Sri Ramakrishna F G College, Mangalore bags the first place, Sri Niranjana Swamy FG College, Sunkadakatte bags second and Govindadas F G College, Suratkal bags third prize.
Best Master of Ceremony trophy was shared by:Arpitha Rao of Govindadas College and Madhuraj of Sri Niranjana Swamy College.
