Mangalore, Mar 3: Mangalore, Mar 3: In a laudable gesture MLA J R Lobo along with other leaders distributed free food to all the starving passengers at the bus stand.
Reportedly, around 580 KSRTC buses were canceled due to the bandh and due to this large number of passengers had to suffer since they were not left with other means of transport. The leaders distributed food to 350 to 400 people.
Lobo also spoke to passengers and listened to their grievances and rendered moral support. He also expressed their opposition to the Yettinahole project through the bandh. There is a need for proper scientific study on the project and will discuss the issue with the CM and try to bring the picture to their notice.
Leaders like P V Mohan, Denis D’Silva, T K Sudhir, Ramanand Bolar, Dinakar Shetty, Shashiraj Shetty Kolambe, M G Hegde, Jayakar Samarth, Nemiraj Shetty, Badruddin, Radhakrishna and others were present.
