MANGALORE: Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee President B Ramanath Rai sounded the bugle by declaring war against Sangh Parivar on Wednesday.
During a speech at Bantwal on Wednesday, Rai said his opponent was RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat and not the candidate Rajesh Naik. He is just a pawn in the scheme of things. The real opponent is Bhat,” he said.
He said these polls will be an opportunity to give a fitting reply to the persons who have hatched conspiracies and torn the social fabric in this district and urged people to support Congress in this fight.
He also took a dig at the parivar supremo in Bantwal taluk saying that the BJP factory churns out lies and false accusations, but it will not work this time.
