Kumble police arrests man for killing his wife six year ago

Kasargod, Feb 6: Kumble police on Tuesday February 4, arrests a man and his mother accused of murdering his wife and chopping her body into several pieces six years ago.

The arrested are Abdul Khader (31), a Madrasa teacher and his mother Nabisa (50), residents of Maravoor, Cheruthuruthi in Trisshur.

Reportedly, Abdul Khader had chopped his wife into several pieces and throwed them in various places in the year 2007 and since then both mother and son were absconding taking three-month-old baby.

Khader’s father Mammukutty was arrested for the crime was awarded death penalty by the court. But since he challenged the verdict in a higher court and the case is on.

At present, Khader was staying at a quarters at Mogral-Puttur with his second wife and mother.

Kumble circle inspector Sibi Thomas and SI Ashraf of Cheruthuruthi police participated in the arrest operation.
