Bajpe, Jan 27: In a tragic accident, twenty six year old youth was killed when his bike rammed into a omni car on Mangalore-Mangalore NH Highway near Gurupur Kaikamba on January 26, Sunday.
The deceased is Mohammad Harris, hailing from Angadi House in Addoor.
According to the sources, Harris was on his way to Kaikamba from Addoor, while the car was plying from Kaikamba to Mangalore around 6.50 a.m.
In the accident, Harris died on spot, while the passenger and driver of the omni had sustained serious injuries, when their car carrying Bakery items, toppled.
Harris was employed in Saudi Arabia and had come on 15-day leave. Bajpe Police have registered a case.
