Udupi; 15th April is very significant day for Udupi district as many as 15 nominations including high profile candidates pitched in file their nominations.
Prominent persons filing nomination are: Pramod Madhwaraj (Cong), Sudhakar Shetty (BJP) for Udupi assembly constituency; Lalji R Mendon (BJP) for Kaup; Haladi Sreenivas Shetty and Mallyadi Shivaram Shetty (Cong) for Kundapur; V Sunil Kumar (BJP) for Karkala; Gopal Poojary (Cong) and K Shankar from CPI(M) for Byndoor assembly constituency.

ಕಾರ್ಕಳ ವಿಧಾನ ಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುನಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ (ಬಿಜೆಪಿ), ಕೆ.ಪಿ ಪದ್ಮಾವತಿ (ಪಕ್ಷೇತರ), ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಎಸ್ ಮಾಬಿಯಾನ್ (ಕೆಜೆಪಿ) ಮತ್ತು ಸುನಿಲ್ ಸೋನ್ಸ್ (ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಪಿ) ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ನಾಮಪತ್ರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ವಿಧಾನ ಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಿಶೋರ್ (ಬಿಜೆಪಿ), ಶ್ರೀ ಹಾಲಾಡಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ (ಪಕ್ಷೇತರ) ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಮಲ್ಯಾಡಿ ಶಿವರಾಮ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ (ಕಾಂಗ್ರೇಸ್) ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ನಾಮಪತ್ರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
