Mangalore, Jan 14: Tension prevails at Kulai, as the betting issue during the cricket tournament, leads to clash between two groups.
According to the sources, a group of 10 to 15 members including Riyaz, Afiz and Tausif had barged into the residence of Anil, near the Kalikamba Temple at Preethinagara, Kulai and assaulted his family members.
The group had even pelted stone a Bhajana Mandir located in the area.
While the other group had stopped the bike rider, assaulted him before escaping from the scene.
Panambur police official’s team led by ACP P Ravikumar reached the spot.
The case has been registered and security measures have been taken to avoid any major incidents.
