Kundapur; Jan 01: When New Year’s happiness is being celebrated everywhere, a pall of gloom was overcastted in their house.
It is said that when the owner of the saloon, who left out of his house in his bike,a vehicle coming from the opposite direction rammed forcefully on to his bike, resulting the death of saloon owner. This incident occurred at Thekkatte Kannukere Makkibettu on Dec 31, Tuesday.
Makkibettu resident, Prabhakara Bhandary, aged 43, was the unfortunate man, who met with fatal death in an accident, which happened just in front of his house.
Details of the incident:
Prabhakara Bhandary, who was running his saloon in Kome, was remained at home as it was a public holiday on Dec 31, Tuesday. It was told that after afternoon, took Suzuki Access, vehicle which was at home, left towards market along with 10 year boy with him. During this period, as he was coming out of house gate,a vehicle which was moving from Kome towards Kannukere,rammed on to his two wheeler. Due to the impact of the hit prabhakara fell down into the pond nearby and then hit the compound wall of the house. Due to this, he got severely injured in cheek (jaw) and he was immediately taken to Koteshwara private school and from there he was taken to Manipal hospital as instructed by doctor of the Koteshwara hospital but on his way to Manipal hospital,Prabhakar breathed his last.
The deceased is survived by his wife Mookambika, one son and one daughter.
The case was registered in Kota police station
