Moodbidri; Dec 25: After inaugurating well-equipped computer lab in Jain high school and laying foundation stone for the construction of indoor stadium in Dhavala College, Dr.M.Veerappa Moily, union minister for petroleum said in his address that students by dreaming about perseverance in studying, failure and success, they should try to convert their dream into embodiment.
During the occasion, management committee of the institution has appealed to Dr.Moily to provide grant-in-aid of Rs 1 crore for the construction of new school building for Jain primary school.
Responding to this, Dr Moily has informed authorities of Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum, who were present in the programme in the capacity as chief guests to provide grant of Rs 25 lac and Rs 45 lac respectively to Jain primary school for the construction of their new school building.
Meantime, K.Abhayachandra Jain, minister for youth welfare and fisheries has requested Dr.Moily to provide grant-in-aid from the oil companies for Mahaveer College, where he is the president.Dr.Moily informed the authorities that matter will be reviewed.

Prof.Ravish Kumar,Principal,Dhavala College,Pratap Kumar, convener of D.J.V.V.Sangha,Abhijith M,secretary,trustees Hemaraj,Prabhat Kumar and among others were present on the stage.
Abhijit M welcomed the guests and Prof.Padmaja compered the programme.
