Mangalore, Nov. 22: Father Muller Medical College has been accredited with ‘A’ grade, which has given by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health and Science’, said Rev.Fr Rudolph Ravi D’sa, administrator of Father Muller Medical College.
He spoke at the press meet on Thursday, November 21.
Father Muller Medical College Hospital as a whole is also undergoing the process of accreditation and the pre-assessment for the accreditation of the hospital by National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) is already over, he said. “With this, our commitment to quality and excellence is demonstrated. This accreditation is a challenge for us to maintain and enhance the highest standards and provide better infrastructure,” he added.
Addressing the presspersons Dr.Jayaprakash Alva, dean said that Father Muller is the first medical college which accredited with ‘A’ grade and Microbiology, Biochemistry and Pathology laboratories are also been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).
Dr.Sanjeev Rai, chief of medical services, Father Muller Charitable Institutions and Dr Narasimman S., vice dean, FMMC were present.
