Mangalore, Nov 16: A Volkswagen Vento car travelling from Attavar railway station to Attavar Katte crashed into Hotel South India located near Beary Academy office at Attavar Katte.
The incident took place on Saturday November 16 around 4.15 am. The car was completely damaged in the accident and the six people in the car were injured.
Sources said that the accident took place when the driver lost control, as he had applied sudden break so that he would not crash into another car. In the process of avoiding a mishap, he diverted his car towards the right side, when he lost his grip, ramming him into the hotel below.
Mohammed Sadaf (17), Bazid (16), Mohammed Tahsil (21) and Azvad were the four out of the six individuals travelling in the car, all are admitted at Unity Hospital, wherein Tahsil is is said to be critical.
Bunder police have registered a case.
