Kundapur: Minister Vinaya Kumar Sorake visits Koderi Port; Multi-crore project’s work reviewed

Kundapur; Nov 08: Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development and district in charge visited Uppunda’s Koderi bunder on Nov 09, Friday and re-viewed the work progress.

On the occasion, speaking to the press reporters, he said that Koderi bunder project is a big dream project and soon all the wishes of the fishermen will be fulfilled, he said.

Already Rs 30 crore has been released and 200 metre length work has been done. The request has been sent for another Rs 33 crore for the remaining 200 metres of works.

The final decision will be taken in the next cabinet meeting. Chief Minister is responding to the difficulties and problems of the fishermen. For the benefits of the fishermen, he has introduced many projects, he added.

On the occasion,Gopala Poojary,Baindoor MLA, Raju Poojary,Engineer N.M.Kharvi, Ramachandra Kharvi, president country boat fishermen’s sangha, Madana Kharvi, honorable president and Annappa Kharvi and among others were present.
