Role of an efficient leader in the security of society plays a significant part-Shree Nrrasimhashrama Swamiji
Kundapur; Nov 04: While gracing the occasion of tertiary mass Go-puja on Nov 04, Monday organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishat and Koteshwara Bajarangadal at Saraswati Kalyanamantap, Balekudru’s Shree Mutt’s honorable Shree Shree Shree Nrrasimhashrama Swamiji said in his address that the intellectual people by giving up their anti-social activities, should be awakened to do good works for the welfare of the society.
Besides, in the security of society, a role of an efficient leader is paramount important but responsibility of selecting such leader is left to intellect citizens, he said.
Continuing his address, he said that in our culture, some things were given sacred place and cows are being worshipped in the place of our mother. An individual is being benefitted throughout his lifetime by the Kamadhenu.Under the circumstances, it is every citizen’s duty to protect cows. Then only, transformation of the society is possible, he added
Vishwa Hindu Parishat Udupi district president Baikady Suprasad Shetty, while delivering a comprehensive introductory talk said that even before obtaining freedom, Gandhiji’s dream was to ban cow slaughtering.
But in recent days, the principles of Gandhiji are being disappearing. As a result of vote-bank politics, government is hesitating to implement ban on cow slaughtering act. This is cowardliness of the government and not making any efforts to introduce pro-cow protection act. Therefore everybody should be in alert to save and protect the cows, he said. Prior to Gopuja programme, Swamiji was brought in bike rally procession from Aanegudde Shree Vinayaka temple Swagathagopura to Koteshwara. Thereafter Swamiji performed Pooja for cows.
VHP will be completing its 50th year in 2014.During the occasion of golden jubilee celebration, VHP has planned some projects and programmes in order to save and protect cows and we are ready to sacrifice everything to stop cow slaughtering, he warned.
