Mangalore, Oct 25: Today morning, on October 25, Friday once again the customs officials at the Mangalore International Airport seized over 2 kg of gold from a person arrived from Dubai by the Air India Express flight.
Gold were shaped in the form of ‘hangers’ which were covered by plastic tube. There were nearly 25 gold hanger was therein the luggage bags.
When the officials detected unusual objects in the scanning and made clear search of it. Then they find gold smuggling.
The passenger has been arrested and taken into custody.
