Missing girls from NMPT School found in Hubli

Mangalore, Oct 8: Three students from NMPT Central School have gone missing from school on October 7.

The girls are Varshini (11) daughter of Sampath Kumar of Kavoor, Rakshitha (11), daughter of Venkatesh of Ashok Nagar in Kodikal and Varshini (11), daughter of Keshava Shetty of Madhyapadavu.

All of them are studying in 6th standard at NMPT Central School in Panambur. They left the school after the class at around 3 p.m.

Parents of the missing children filed a missing person’s complaint in the Panambur police station.

As per the latest information, the three school girls who had gone missing have been found in Hubli, on October 8

It is said that the girls, catch a bus to Hubli on Oct 7th evening. A family in the bus saw the girls and growing suspicious, questioned them.

When the bus reached Hubli, the girls were taken to police station. When they made an enquiry the girls said that they feared by scoring less marks in the exam so they plan to run away from the home. Police then made arrangements to bring them back home and they are expected to reach here by Tuesday evening.
