Mulky Police saves couple from attack by Moral Police!

Mangalore, Oct 3: The alert police took prevention action and saved the couples by attack of moral police at Bappanadu near Mulki on Wednesday Oct.2.

On receiving information that couples belonging to different religions travelling in a car will face threat of attack from a Hindu outfit, the Mulky police get alert and protected the couple.

As per the information obtained, the couples were travelling in an Alto car from Mangalore towards Udupi. The members of the Hindu outfit began following them and plan to attack. This information was received by Mulky police via wireless communication.

As soon as they received the information, the police team headed by sub-inspector Somayya stopped the car near Bappanadu and took the couples into custody. Looking at the police, the team who planned to attack run away from the spot.

There were altogether three boys and two girls in the car. The boys were the workers of prestigious companies of Mangalore like Goldfinch, FM Channel and Callcenter.They were identified as Kiran Kumar Shetty of Jeppu, Sandesh Kumar Kanchan of Ullal and resident of Kotekar Ajith Sharath D’Souza.

On interrogation, they said that they were couples and they misbehaved with the police. Hence police called their parents to the station and released them with a warning.

With the alertness of Police the couples were saved from moral police attack.
