Mangalore, Oct.2: The state government has decided to establish well equipped Arogya Souda in Dakshina Kannada. This is the project of Rs. 8 crore. For this project Rs. 4.50 is already released said Health minister U.T. Kadher.
Addressing the media at Circuit House here on Wednesday Oct.2 he said that.
He further said that all the facilities related to medical treatment will available at Arogya Souda. To construct this Souda we are verifying the location. Regarding to this will discuss with the officers of Wenlock hospital and district health department and will take further action towards this.
Under the National primary education project the location were sanctioned for the establishment of high schools in Amlamogaru and Someshwar of Ullal and establishment of the college in Mudipu he said.
He also said that to construct home for the poor people and middle class people, nearly 13 acres place was fixed in Konaje. And also there is a plan to construct port in Kotekar for the fisheries. This was the demand of fishermen of Ullal. For this project Rs. 4 crore is released.
