Mangalore, Sep 19: The valuables worth Rs 10 lakhs of rupees was stolen from the house of Vidyanagara in Ullal in the early morning of Thursday September 19.
The house belonging to Ramesh Patel, a tobacco merchant. The thieves entered into the house late in the night decamped with cash and jewellery valued at Rs 10 lakh.
Patel belongs to Gujarat by origin and has been staying in Ullal for the last 40 years. The thieves who entered the house around 2 am took away cash amounting to Rs 25,000 and diamonds and gold weighing 500 grams valued at Rs 10 lakh.
A case has been registered in Ullal police station.
