Coalition with Congress was the big Mistake of JD(S)’s: H.D.Deve Gowda

Mangalore, Sep 18: I made the mistake by extending support to Congress in 2004 said H.D. Deve Gowda, former Prime Minster of India here on Wednesday, September 18th.

Speaking with the media persons at Circuit House Kadri he said that, Congress tried to weaken our party. In future we are not extending support to any parties. As a former prime minister I have to strengthen my party in coming days. So that i will take up tour in the state to strengthen the party. In the same way H.D. Kumaraswamy will tour Mysore region.

Deve Gowda urged the people to extend their support to JD(S) to bring control over corruption. There is a huge challenge in front of us and we have accepted the challenges.

Commenting on the appointment of Krishnappa as JD(S) state Chief he said that to give more power to leaders who came from weaker section we made Krishnappa as state president.

JD(S) State Unit President Krishnappa speaking to the media person said it is my duty to unite all the members and make them work together for the development of the party. In the coming election we will contest from all the constituencies and we should won 15 to 16 seats. In this way we are hardly working to make our dream come true he added.

JD(S) leaders Sushil Noronha, M B Sadashiv, President JD(S) Minority David Simon, Mohammed Kunji, Vasanth Poojary and other JD(S) leaders were also present.
