Mangalore , sep.13 : The prestigious national award “Sarojini Naidu” which was conferred to the working journalist, Smt Nayana, the senior reporter of Deccan Herald newspaper.
This award was presented by the international organization called “The Hunger Project”, to the journalists who wrote best report on the topic “Women and Pachayath Raj”.
Smt. Nayana was accolated for her article “Trash to Treasure Kadaba GP Shows the Way”. She received this award with cash prize of 2lakh and certificate in the program that took place in Delhi.
