Mangalore, September 8: Health Minister U.T khader has inaugurated the coastal level Kabbaddi competition by palyng the Kabaddi organised by Bunts hostel Shree Siddivinayaka Foundation and Public Shree Ganeshotsava Committee at Omkara nagar of Bunts hostel on Saturday.
After the inauguration he said that children are not only wealth of their parents but also property of society. Along with religious programme, sports event conducting is appreciable. Bunts community has shown its achievement in religious, educational and sports event and seniors must make the juniors to follow the same route, he said.
Shree Siddivinayaka Foundation managing trustee Maladi Ajith Kumar Rai spoke in the presidential address.
Chief Guest, Chatrapathi Shivaji Award winner Jayaram Shetty said that there is continuous try to join the Kabaddi to 2020 Olympics and it facing too much hurdles. As it joined to Asian games, the talented person like Mamatha Poojary, got good opportunity. People must create the taste in this game and must help the new talents to take birth.
