Haj Voyage from Mangalore airport: Farewell to the first team

Mangalore, September 7: ‘Every Muslim willing to go for Hujj voyage, but everybody cannot do so. Hence, government has provided the opportunity to backward Muslims to go to Hujj’, said Health Minister U.T Khader.

He was speaking after inaugurating the farewell ceremony at the Bajpe airport on Friday.

Youth service and Fisheries minister K. Abhaychandra Jain said that to pray with the god to preserve the peace and harmony in the coastal area. D.K district Khaji twaka ahmed musliyar prayed the god and Khaji Ibrahim musliyar bekal graced the occasion. MLA Mohiyuddin Bava presided over the function and MLA Lobo, State Hujj committee president M.M Ahmed,Karnataka wakf board president Abdul riyaz khan, Yenepoya University Vice chancellor Y. Abdulla Kunji, Airport director Radhakrishna, Muslim central committee president k.S. Muhammad Masood and others were present.

In the first stage 166 tourists’ team have departed from the airport at 3.30, morning. The tourists will reach the goa from Mangalore and from there, they will move to Madeena in special aeroplane at morning 6. Udupi, Hasana, Chikamagalur, Madikeri, Mangalore residents are in that team and from September 7 to Sep. 12, totally 1,000 tourists will move to Hujj.

Hujj voyage from Sep.7- 12: The tourists’ aeroplane will work at Mangalore international airport from Sep.7 to Sep.12 on every day morning 3.30.

Nearly 980 people will go for Hujj tour and tourists are including from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu, Chikamagalur, Hasana. Hujj committee has prepared the camp in the airport old terminal building along withthe medical facility.
