Mangalore, August 24, 2013: The youth of Mangalore who had so far read or watched the movies based on the novels of well-known writer and speaker Chetan Bhagat, got an opportunity to listen to the famed author at a live programme in the city on Saturday.
Chetan Bhagat addressed Mangaloreans for the first time ever, in a talk programme on ‘Leadership and goal setting’ organised by Manipal Ace Event Management Company at T M A Pai Hall on Saturday. “For me success is to reach more number of people for bringing a change in their thought process and according to estimation, I have been successful in reaching 4 to 5 crore of Indian population,” he said.
The author insisted the students not to quit while on their way to success. Never be de-motivated. The person who dreams to achieve big has to follow six important steps which includes, setting a clear goal, analyse the reasons behind the goal, finding the group, preparing detailed action plan, set back daily mechanism and faith.
In his talk that lasted for one-and-a-half hour, Bhagat was humourous while touching upon various aspects of motivation.
