Mangalore, August 15: There are so may patriots loosed their life for nation’s independence and their pain, contribution must be remembered on this occasion. Our government is ready to provide the fundamental necessities to people and from two month, implemented several programmes shows government’s concern towards public, said B Ramanatha Rai.
He was speaking after hoisting the flag in the Independence Day celebration programme and said that our government will move by keeping the promise of people and will provide the transparent administration. Our government going to finish the 100 days of administration, hence, by implementing the necessary programmes, we wish to make the Karnataka as a model state, he said.
Union project commission has given the green signal to planned revised project at the cost of Rs. 47 thousand crore, hence state commission has congratulated and appreciated us regarding the issue, he said.
Meals project: After gaining the power, our government has implemented one kg rice for one Rs, which has started from July 2013 and I have ordered that, this project must be implemented properly.
Ksheera Bhagya, Model project: Before our government has introduced mid day meal project and now government has giving 150 ml milk to the students from 1 to 10th standard. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday milk is distributing to 51 thousand schools and 64 Anganavadi centres and along with that sugars also providing the children.
Meanwhile, he said to increase the encouragement price Rs. 4 to milk, make the hut less state, waiving of loans of minor community and backward community people, Waiving of electronic fee to who were under the Bhagyajyoti and kuteera jyoti service, pensions to unmarried women’s, minor community welfare fund, fishery, protection of society, equal opportunity to SCs and STs and women and child welfare issues.
Health Minister U. T Khader, former C.M Sadananda Gowda, Zilla panchayat president Koragappa Naika, MLA Angara, MLA Vasanth Bangera, MLA J R Lobo, MLA B. A Mohiyuddin Bava, Captian Ganesh Karnik, Monappa Bhandary and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel were present.
