Mangaluru, December 8: Local youths opposed on the Aiyyappa camp which was structured at bus stop near SNS Polytechnic college junction at Sunkadakatte and fought with the Aiyyappa vrathadharis under the Bajpe police jurisdiction.
A camp is erected by the Aiyyappa vrathadharis at bus stop near SNS polytechnic college junction. Group of youths who arrived here warned Aiyyappa vrathadharis not to stay here stating that it would cause inconvenience to them.
Moreover, the gang threatened the swamis to shift the camp. It is said, both the groups had involved in a fight.
A case has been filed by both the groups at Bajpe Police station.
It is said as many as ten persons are arrested in relation to this incident and booked under various cases.
