M B Puranik Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader addressing the protestors said “State government is involved in a planned strategy to curb the voice of pro-Hindu activists by booking them under Goonda Act. From past 2 years government is appeasing the minorities and involved in anti-Hindu stances. Pressure is mounted on the police department to book Hindu activists unreasonably under Goonda act to subside them. If the government continues it, in future, Hindu organizations will stage massive protest. If the peace of the society is harmed, State government should bear the responsibility. Pro-Hindu activists are struggling to protect culture of this land and they are against cow slaughter. State governments should stop suppressing Hindus and should hold administration with peace and prosperity.

Sathyajith Surthkal the State co-convener of Hindu Jagarana Vedike speaking on this occasion said, “State government should stop targeting the Hindu activists and stop booking them under Goonda act. Law is equal to all. Hence police department should arrest district in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai, UT Khader and MLA Moideen Bava for backing the culprits who are involved in various crimes. Though there were various criminals like Rashid Malbari who is linked with the underworld and Madooru Yousuf, government has failed to book them under the Goonda act. Even though the criminals attacked cops with weapons, illegal cattle transporters transported cattle illegally, government has failed to book them under Goonda act because with only reason that they are from minority community. Even when the cattle are transported in inhumane ways, the culprits are not punished”.
