Raid by forest department squad on Srirama Vidya Kendra owned by Prabhakar Kalladka,

Mangalore/Bantwal, May 10:  It has been reported that a squad of forest department officials have swooped Srirama vidya Kendra, Kalladka being run by Prabhakar Bhat, Kalladka on May 10, Friday.

It has been alleged that banned wild animals like monkeys, stags, deer, porcupines, peacocks and hares are being fostered at the school without any related written permission from the department.

Sources said that the Prabhakar Bhat, being the convener of the said institution is at loggerhead with Ramanath Rai, MLA from Bantwal since long.Bhat is the provincial Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha.

Sources said forest squad may either take away all the animals or slap cases under various sections of wild animal’s protection Act against the management of the educational; institution concerned.
