Forest officials rescue the cheetah that was stuck to a fence.

Belthangady, September 27: The incident in which a cheetah got entangled in a boundary fence suffered serious injuries occurred on Friday near Kundadka of Taremaru in Macchina village. The cheetah had come in search of food got stuck overnight, on Friday, one of the locals on observing this had conveyed the information to the forest Officials.

The Forest Department officials immediately rushed to the spot and freed the cheetah from the fence. Later Dr. Vibha, Scientific Officer Vikram and Care taker Dinesh came to the spot and injected it with Anesthetic drug. Twice dotting was done through the tube pipe.

Mangalore DCF Hanumanthappa, ACF Abbas, Forest officers of Uppinangadi and Belthangadi zone Sunder Shetty, Harsha, and the forest officer of wildlife department Shreenath Kadolkar and forester’s arrived at the spot and took  proper initiatives.
