Mangalore, September 23: Janatha Darshan will be organised in taluk headquarters from October 1st on-wards; on Wednesdays, as directed by the CM.  B Ramanath Rai, the District-in-Charge Minister has announced that on October 1st, the first Janatha Darshan in the district will be held at Belthangady.

The officials were instructed to ensure that the complaints get settled on the spot and in rare cases, time could be extended up to three months, until the next round of Janatha Darshan in a particular taluk.

The nodal officer for the meeting will be the Assistant commissioner of the respective taluk, whereas the assistant nodal officer will be the TP EO. All the district officials including the deputy commissioner, zilla panchayat chief executive officer, superintendent of police, police commissioner, assistant commissioner, deputy directors and assistant directors of various departments will be present at Janatha Darshan.

In all the meetings; for the benefit of citizens, a plaint cell will be opened to put forth their complaints.
