Mangalore, September 15: On Monday morning, a bike heading towards Uppinangady lost the control of its rider and swiftly fell into a ditch beside the road. The incident occurred on Monday morning close to Bollar- Anemajalu in the National Highway.
In this accident, the rider Mithun (19) resident of Sullia, is no more and the pillon Manju(27) is under treatment.

Both were on their way to Uppinangady, when their bike collided to a rock, skid and later fell into a deep ditch.
Sources revealed that, the rider was over speeding and lost his control. Since the vehicle fell into the ditch with force, Mithun was badly wounded on his head, face and back.
Manju is treated in a local hospital where as badly injured Mithun was shifted to a hospital in Mangalore.
Sources have revealed that both the chums were working as drivers at Mangalore.
The mortal remains of Mithun are kept at a mortuary in Uppinangady.
Puttur Traffic Cops visited the spot and filed a case.
