Kundapura; 103-year-old Buddamma Poojarthi was among the oldest voters in the district, a true inspiration to all, especially youngsters.
A resident of Ultoor near Tekkatte, Kundapur, she cast her vote at Ultoor government higher primary school. She was accompanied by her daughter Lakshmi.
Speaking to mediapersons, Buddamma said that she does not remember how many times she has voted, but said that voting is everyone’s right and she would continue to cast her vote till death. Her daughter Lakshmi said her mother has never missed a single election, and even coaxes everyone in their family to not waste the opportunity to vote. “She is a true inspiration to all of us,” she said.
