New Delhi: Claiming that unlike previous governments, he did not “have the luxury” of a 100-day “honeymoon period”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi blogged on Thursday to express satisfaction with the work done in his first 30 days in office. Mr Modi also noted that there were areas where “we need to improve”.

The PM claimed in his blog that a “series of allegations began in less than 100 hours” after his government took offices. Some of these were over issues with which the government had nothing to do, but still the controversies persisted, he said. The PM, however, did not specifically mention any controversies.

Mr Modi noted that “a big challenge” that he faces in Delhi was to “convey to a select group of people about our intentions and sincerity to bring a positive change in this country”, and adding that these people were “both within and outside the government system”. He added, though, that his confidence and determination had gone up tremendously.
