This pamphlet was circulated at BJP leader Arun Jaitley’s meeting in Hyderabad on Tuesday, for the party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Seeking to ride the NaMo wave, the pamphlet completely obscures the name of the party (printed in ultra-small letters at left top).
It has two images of its biggest star, a list of his achievements and chants NaMo a total of seven times. No other BJP stalwart finds a place on the official pamphlet.
Oddly for a party that believes that the nation comes first, the party next and the individual last, the pamphlet features no other BJP leader. Only the lotus blooms thrice. That perhaps is all that matters.
