Dubai- Evelys ClarkeA BRITISH airline stewardess has plunged to her death from a high-rise building in Dubai. Cops were last night investigating after Evelyn Clarke, 30, fell from the block after a night out on Sunday. Distraught pals paid tribute on Twitter to the Scot, who worked as a flight attendant for airlines including Emirates.

Evelyn died from multiple injuries after the plunge. A Foreign Office spokesman said last night: “As yet it has not been confirmed whether this was a tragic accident or there is anything else to it.” It is not believed air veteran Evelyn had any personal issues and suicide is not suspected. Cops were yesterday interviewing the last people to speak to her.

Pal Natalie Gibson tweeted: “Sometimes things knock you for 6, another beautiful person taken from us, sleep peacefully sweetheart.” A former colleague of Evelyn said last night: “She was a lovely girl who always looked glamorous and loved life.” It comes less than a month after British bride Abbie Emmett, 27, of Addlestone, Surrey, died in a fall from a hotel window on her honeymoon in the Arab emirate.
